June is the month when everything clicks into place. The sea, cold in May, finally crosses into comfort (~23°C, warming through the weeks). The days are the longest of the year — the sun sets around 9 p.m. — everything is open (Samaria, the big beaches, ferries), and yet crowds don't exceed ~65% of peak, before the school holidays flip everything in July.
