Open from 6am to 2pm. Closed Sunday afternoon. Items run out by noon — the good ones by 10am.
A fournos (φούρνος) is a traditional Greek bakery — wood-fire or electric stone oven. It sells bread (psomí), sweet pastries (glikismata), savory pies (pites), and often dairy products from a local farm. The display changes every morning. It is not a café and not a French-style patisserie. It is a production bakery that sells retail from a counter.
The display case at 6:30am and the display case at 11am are not the same display case. Everything good — the warm kalitsounia, the first-out-of-the-oven spanakopita — is gone by 9am.
